Wine Pairing Tips

TIP 1
Pair sweet foods with sweet wines. For example, creme brûlée and riesling. If sweet food is paired with an unsweet or dry wine it can add a sour taste to the wine or, in red wine, it can intensify the dry mouth tannins.

TIP 2
Pair acidic foods with acidic wines. For example, our house salad with white balsamic vinaigrette dressing and Sauvignon Blanc.

TIP 3
Pair rich, meaty or heavy acidic foods with tannic wines (often reds). For example, Wilmington's Finest Filet with Cabernet Sauvignon.
